Chatting using Models

Serenity* AI Chat has three main ways to chat: using Models, using Company Agents (provided by the organization), and using Personal Assistants (agents created by the user). Here we'll talk about chatting using models.

The sidebar provides quick access to:

  • New chat — start a fresh conversation
  • Add folder — organize chats into folders
  • Search chats — find previous conversations
  • Folders — grouped conversations
  • Your Chats — list of recent conversations

The main area displays a welcome message, the input box, and shortcuts to Company Agents and Personal Assistants.

Starting a new conversation​

  1. Click "New chat" in the top-left corner to start a fresh conversation.
  2. Select a model from the dropdown at the top. A list of available models will appear, and you can search through them. You can also expand Advanced Settings for additional options.
  3. Type your message in the "Ask anything" input box at the bottom and press the send button.

The available models are defined in Serenity* Star. Go to Serenity Star → Settings → Serenity AI Chat** if you want to exclude models or change the default model for users.

  1. The AI will display its response in the chat area. You can continue the conversation by sending follow-up messages.

Accessing existing conversations​

All new and previous conversations are listed under "Your Chats" in the sidebar. Use the "Search chats..." option to quickly find a specific conversation.

Grouping conversations​

Click the "Add folder" button to create folders and organize your conversations. Created folders appear under the Folders section in the sidebar.

You can also drag and drop a conversation into a folder to move it.

Editing folders and conversations​

Hover over a folder or conversation and click the "..." menu button on the right side to see the available options.

A context menu will appear with the following options:

  • Edit Folder — rename the folder
  • Delete Folder — remove the folder

When editing a folder, a dialog will appear where you can change the folder name and click Save.

When deleting a folder, you can choose between:

  • Delete Folder & Included Items — removes the folder and all conversations inside it
  • Delete Folder Only — removes the folder but keeps the conversations

Review conversations using Serenity* Star​

All conversations performed through Serenity* AI Chat can be reviewed from Serenity* Star. Go to Serenity Star → Serenity AI Chat Management** and click the "Instances" tab
